Understanding the Universe

                     UNDERSTANDING THE UNIVERSE

The whole celestial bodies are collectively known as Universe. The universe contains tiniest particles to huge galaxies like atomic and subatomic particles, dust clouds, meteors, meteorites, asteroids, satellites, planets, systems, stars, black holes, galaxies etc. Galaxies are the huge celestial bodies found in the universe. There are about 200 billion galaxies found in the universe.

This is very difficult to measure the extension of the space. The approximate diameter of the universe is about 93 billion light-years. It is believed that the diameter of the whole universe including unobservable space may be 98 billion light-years. Some Astronauts believe that the space of the universe is contentiously expanding.

The Big Bang Theory says that the universe come into exist due to huge explosion in 10 billion to 20 billion years ago. Many theories tried to formulate about origin of the universe by different astronomers, but the Big Bang Theory accepted by a lot.

The Universe contains a large number of superclusters. A supercluster contains a large number of galaxies. A galaxy contains a large number of systems. A system contains several planets.

The Laniakia is one of the supercluster in the Universe.  The Milkyway is one of the galaxy in the supercluster of Laniakia. The Solar System is one of the system or steller system in the galaxy of Milkyway. The Earth is one of the planet in the Solar System.

Hercules-Corana Borealis Great Wall is the largest supercluster. IC 1101 is the largest galaxy. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system.
